1897: Fraternity is started at Stetson University under a different name.

1925: Fraternity chooses to change their affiliation and becomes the Alpha Chi Chapter of Delta Sigma Phi

1926: Alpha Chi puts on the first ever Sailor’s Ball which turns into a yearly event held by all chapters of Delta Sigma Phi.

1987: Alpha Chi wins their first Pyramid of Excellence which is given to the National Fraternity of the Year.

1994: Alpha Chi wins their second Pyramid of Excellence

1998: Alpha Chi is kicked off campus

2002: Alpha Chi is re-colonized

Fall: The founding fathers class begins with 15 men handpicked by nationals.

2003:Spring: The Alpha class is initiated into the fraternity bringing in six new members

Fall: Alpha Chi participates in first rush since being re-colonized. They rush 12 men, which was the third biggest rush class on campus. The Beta Class thus brought 9 more men into the fraternity. Alpha Chi places third in Greenfeather and their vice president wins Mr. Greenfeather.

2004: The Gamma Class is initiated which brings five more quality guys into the fraternity. The Alpha Chi Colony officially became the Alpha Chi Chapter on April 3, 2004 when the Grand Council approves Alpha Chi for rechartering. Participating in Greek Week for the first time Alpha Chi wins Greek week with victories in events such as Greek Olympics, Greek Sing, Banner, and Jersey Day. At the Greek Banquet Alpha Chi received “Most Improved Fraternity” and their Chapter Advisor received “Advisor of the Year”. At the end of the Spring Semester Alpha Chi received the news that they would once again occupy a house on Fraternity row. Thus the future of the Alpha Chi Chapter of Delta Sigma Phi begins once again.
